At PSY RED, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal data of our users (clients and psychologists) in accordance with the Personal Data Law of El Salvador and the Special Cybersecurity Law of El Salvador.
We collect only the data necessary to facilitate the booking and management of psychological sessions, which include:
First and last name
Email
Phone number (if you communicate with us by WhatsApp)
Session history (dates, times and names of psychologists)
This data is essential for user identification, communication and service delivery.
To ensure verification of registered professionals and to facilitate selection by clients, we collect:
Full name
Email
Country of residence
Professional license number
License document (digital copy for verification)
Professional specialties
Rates per session
Availability schedules
Professional photograph (optional, for identification in the directory)
This data allows PSY RED to fulfill its purpose of connecting clients with qualified and verified psychologists.
Usage Data
Usage Data is automatically collected when you use the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, the unique ID of your mobile device, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Data Storage
For Clients
Customer data is stored in the PSY RED Website database, hosted on secure servers managed by our hosting provider. These servers comply with internationally recognized security standards, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
For Psychologists
Psychologists' data, including licensing documents, are stored in a secure folder on PSY RED's Google Drive, accessible only to authorized personnel in charge of verification. This data is not publicly displayed on the Website, except for name, specialties, rates, availability and photo (if applicable), which are published in the directory with the psychologist's consent.
Payment Details
Payment-related data (such as card or bank account information) not stored in our systems. These are processed exclusively by secure external platforms, such as PayPal or the system of the respective bank, under their own privacy and security policies. PSY RED only receives confirmation of successful payment, without access to sensitive financial details.
Retention of your Personal Data
The Company will retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Client and psychologist data will be kept for as long as necessary for the provision of the service and up to a maximum of 5 years after the last interaction with the platform, unless there is a legal obligation or legitimate justification to keep them longer, in compliance with the principle of data minimization established in the Law.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally required to retain this data for longer periods of time.
Transfer of your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operational offices and at any other location where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means that this information may be transferred to - and maintained at - the Company's operational offices - computers located outside your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

PSY RED implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure, according to the provisions of Article 23 of the Personal Data Protection Law and Article 10 of Special Cybersecurity Law. These measures include:
Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
Restricted access to data, limited to authorized personnel with specific credentials and under confidentiality agreements.
Use of third-party servers and platforms (such as Google Drive and the hosting ) that meet recognized security standards.
Continuous monitoring to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents, in
compliance with the prevention obligations established in the Special
Cybersecurity Law.
The security of your Personal Data is important to Us, but please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Although We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Delete your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that We assist You in deleting Personal Data that We have collected about You.
Our Service may give you the ability to delete certain information about you from within the Service.
You may update, modify or delete your information at any time by logging into your Account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage your personal information. You may also contact us to request access to, correct or delete any personal information you have provided to us.

Users have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel (Suppress), Oppose, Object to, Port, Limit the processing of their personal data and request to be Forgotten, according to articles 13 to 18 of the Personal Data Protection Law of El Salvador. Independent Psychologists, as persons in charge of the treatment during the sessions, are also obliged to comply with the Personal Data Protection Law and the Cybersecurity Law, guaranteeing levels of protection that are not lower than those required Salvadoran regulations. Each Psychologist is responsible for the security and confidentiality of the personal data he/she accesses in the exercise of his/her professional function.
Disclosure of your Personal Data

In certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
